Shopify Data AccessAs a Shopify app, Angle requires certain permissions to function properly. We access:

• Product data (titles, descriptions, variants, prices)
• Theme files (for embedding our chat interface)
• Basic store information
• Order data (including customer email addresses for order tracking verification only)

These permissions are used solely for providing our AI-powered product assistance service and order tracking verification. All data access and processing are performed in accordance with Shopify's API Terms of Service. We implement strict security measures to protect all merchant and customer data during these operations.

Information Collection and ProcessingOur app processes the following types of data:

• Product information from your store's product pages
• Customer questions submitted through our chat interface
• Order information and customer email addresses (accessed temporarily for order tracking verification only)
• Basic usage analytics to improve our service

All data processing is performed in real-time through secure channels. We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission. Customer data such as email addresses are only accessed momentarily for verification purposes and are never stored or retained in any form.

Data Storage and RetentionAngle operates on a strict no-storage principle for customer interactions and sensitive data. We do not:

• Store or retain any customer personal data (including email addresses) after verification
• Create profiles or databases of merchant's customers
• Use customer data for any purpose other than immediate order verification

We take extreme care in handling protected customer data. All customer information is processed in-memory only, for the brief moment required for order verification, and is immediately discarded afterward. No customer data is ever written to persistent storage.

Third-Party ServicesWe utilize the following third-party services:

• Google Cloud's Gemini API for processing questions and generating responses
• Shopify's API for accessing store data
• Standard analytics tools for monitoring app performance

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review these policies. The Google Cloud Gemini API is subject to Google's AI Principles and privacy standards, ensuring responsible AI usage and data protection.

Security MeasuresWe implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, including:
